We design self-constructing paper toys and other unique paper products for kids and "young at heart" adults.
The idea behind PaperCat started to develop with the birth of our children. We found ourselves missing our childhood naïve toys; that were mostly made of wood, paper or metal.
We decided to combine our design skills (Hadar- illustrator &graphic designer, Eitan- Industrial designer) and develop something together. We love paper as a material, and we wanted to create naive paper toys and products with retro style, that will put a smile on kids' faces, all over the world.
Especially today, in the era of the fast internet, the branding and commercial plastic toys- We aspire to create beautiful esthetic products that bring back patience, working with hands, concentrating and deferred gratification. To challenge kids (and adults) to use their motor skills, think in a creative way, and develop their logic intelligence.
